The Associations Senior Dance Group also perfomed at many Panigiria around the island in many villages. One of them being in the village of Karoti, dancing in traditional black clothes, as danced in the region of Anogia. Pictured is also the Associations Vice President Mr. Manolis Vantarakis.
The Associations Senior Dance Group performed at the TZANIDAKIA FESTIVAL in Rethymnon Crete. The Musical Dance Exhibition took place at the Erofili Theatre in Fortetza hosted by the Omilos Vrakoforon Kritis. Other Dance Groups included in the program were the Laografikos Omilos Ariadne, Erotokritos, Karditsas
The Cretan Youth of Australia made up of representatives from our Association, and the Cretan Association of NSW toured Crete in August as part of a Filoxenia Program hosted by the Pancretan youth of Greece and funded by the Mayors of Zaros, Tympaki and Gortinas.
